PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR GRADE-SPECIFIC UPDATES.
We encourage you all to pray as a family often and to Read more about our parish-wide theme: "Love God". You will also see many prayer guides and resources in our church bulletin, website, and church newsletter to help you along the way - especially if prayer isn't something your family has a lot of experience with.
A couple of reminders and some new things for this year:

Cool Catholic Things...
Fulton J. Sheen was a pioneering American archbishop, theologian, and author who became one of the most influential religious figures of the 20th century. Best known as history's first major televangelist, he hosted the wildly popular, Emmy-winning television show Life Is Worth Living in the 1950s, reaching up to 30 million weekly viewers of all faiths with his wit, warmth, and dynamic storytelling.
- He is set to become the first American-born bishop in Catholic history to be beatified (the final step before sainthood).
- His beatification was approved after the Vatican officially recognized the miraculous recovery of a stillborn baby, James Fulton Engstrom, who showed no signs of life for 61 minutes after birth but survived without brain damage after his parents prayed for Sheen's intercession.
- Upcoming Ceremony: The beatification Mass is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026, at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

One More Thing...
Have your pets blessed on Oct 11 at St. John Vianney, at 1:00pm outside the church doors on the Sandoz side of the building. We have a great history in this special blessing of our pets. It is also great fun. Each animal will be individually blessed and there will be treats for both pets and people. Please have ALL dogs on leashes, and ALL other pets in cages (this includes cats). All creatures, great and small are welcome.
