2. St. John Vianney is collecting gently used winter coats for all ages - see the box under the glass case at SJV.
We encourage you all to pray as a family often and to Read more about our parish-wide theme: "Love God". You will also see many prayer guides and resources in our church bulletin, website, and church newsletter to help you along the way - especially if prayer isn't something your family has a lot of experience with.
A couple of reminders and some new things for this year:
Please make sure you COME IN to the church to pick up your students. In order to ensure the safety of all of the kids, we will not be letting the kids leave the building without a parent/guardian/whoever their ride is coming in to get them. Thank you for your understanding.
The doors will lock at 5:30 pm. If you are going to be late, please come around to the front door of the school, which is on the west side of the building on 119th street. In addition, if you need to pick your child up early, please come to the school door and speak with me or Cassie Baker and we will have your child come to the office.

Nov 8: 1st Reconciliation 2nd Gr Mass & Parent Meeting, 9-11 @ MOQ
Nov 10: 8th Grade Confirmation Sponsor & Student Meeting, 6pm @ SJV
Nov 11: 3-5th Grade Family Night - remember at least one parent should plan to attend, but more are welcome - grandparents or other adults can also attend with the student. Dinner will be provided - Look for an RSVP coming soon!
Nov 14: 7th Grade Alpha Retreat @ SJV

Boys - Dress pants, dress shirt, dress shoes. Suit and/or tie is optional, but preferred.
Girls - White dress, shoes, tights. No gloves during ceremony, please. Veils optional.

Continue to work on your Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy to complete your required hours. Remember that Adoration can be done any day, any time - spending time with Jesus is one of the best things any of us can do with our time!
